Story posted 08/03/2010 11:23 by Zel Rodgers

The Football Foundation is shortly going to roll out another round of funding for the Stand Up Speak Up Campaign.  This will support projects that use football to tackle issues of prejudice, (gender, sectarianism, sexual orientation, faith/belief matter), in communities across Europe.

Projects are able to apply for a maximum of £25,000 and must have completed within two years, starting no later than September 2010.  Work must

  • Raise awareness
  • Challenge behaviour
  • Strive to change attitudes

They must use football as the hook to their work but the applicant does not have to be a football club.
