Home from Hospital Service

Would you like to be a Home from Hospital Service Volunteer?

This is a new project and we are looking for volunteers who will visit clients in their own homes on discharge from hospital. The volunteer will provide a low level of support for the initial period (2 to 3 days) at home, in tandem with the client’s care package. Click here for more information about being a volunteer.

Please note all volunteers will require a CRB check.

Volunteers will attend an Induction Programme.

It is not essential that you have your own transport, as wherever possible, we will try to match the volunteer up with a client living within easy travelling distance. We are aiming to have a team of volunteers who can cover mornings and afternoons, Monday to Friday and as a volunteer the amount of time you give is entirely up to you.
