Review of third sector Bereavement Services

NHS Wirral commissioned Voluntary Community Action Wirral to undertake a mapping study of the bereavement services offered across the third sector in Wirral and to make recommendations as to future service delivery.

This report seeks to:

• Identify types of service provision operating on the Wirral
• Map levels of service provision for each ‘type’
• Define ‘routes to service’ for clients and ‘preferred’ delivery mechanisms for providers
• Identify threats to current services.
